The town of Malagón, in the community of Castilla-La Mancha, is located in the north of the province of Ciudad Real, just 23 kms from the capital, where the last southern foothills of the Montes de Toledo give way to the extensive Manchega Plain and the Campo de Calatrava h istorial, in the Upper Guadiana basin.
Malagón enjoys a privileged natural environment, with unique ecosystems and natural places, among which stands out the Natural Reserve of Las Navas de Malagón, formed by lagoons of volcanic origin. It is no less relevant its situation, in an area called Entreparques, being surrounded by: two national parks, Cabañeros and the Tables of Daimiel; and a third, the Natural Park of the Lagunas de Ruidera.
